Congratulations to Jeff and his robot grasshopper for winning the twenty-second week of the Tie Showdown. Jeff has worn some of the classiest and most beautiful ties in the Tie Showdown's history, and this victory was long overdue. This particular number catches the eye with detailed paisley in tone-on-tone regal purple. The official tie showdown photogs had to pick their jaws up off of the floor when they saw this.This wasn't an easy win, however. For much of the week Jeff was in a close battle with perennial favorite Ben (and early favorite to win with such a bold number) and Byron who grows more and more fierce each week (he almost got his first win with the help of a huge jar of jelly beans, and a Similarly elegant tie)
Alas, the week belonged to Jeff with 53% of the votes. Congratulations again to Jeff for winning this week's Tie Showdown and taking his place in the Tie Showdown Hall of Champions.
Also of note: 2009 seems to be the guys' year - we've been without a woman champion for several weeks now. Who will step up?
